Year 12 in Tanzania – 22 June to 5 July

On our way to Braeburn

On our way to Braeburn, Tanzania

Our Year 12 students went to Tanzania in June/July, as part of an International challenge. Click here for their updates and photos from their trip.

The expedition was a physical challenge, the opportunity to make a contribution to the local community in Arusha and a range of enjoyable activities. In particular, students worked with Heshima, a charity that supports the education and skills development of young women and children.

Welcome to Eltham Hill School

We are a leading school for girls aged 11-16 years with a co-educational Post 16 offering the International Baccalaureate, a wide choice of A Levels and some vocational courses. In 2013, 90% of our students achieved 5+ A*-C grades with 73% including English and Maths.

The outstanding facilities offered by the new buildings at the school ensure that it will continue to provide an innovative and creative approach to learning for the 21st century.  In March 2014,  we achieved ‘Outstanding’ grade from Ofsted in every category.

Principal’s Welcome

At the heart of our school is our passion for education; our students are encouraged in their learning, challenged to imagine more and given extensive opportunities to develop. The key priorities of extending learning, high standards of achievement and the personal development of our students, drive all that we do.
