An evening of glitz and glamour arrived at Eltham Hill on Thursday 15th October with our Celebration of Achievement Evening. This annual event allows us all to celebrate the excellence, happiness and success of our school community and to give praise to those students and colleagues who go above and beyond to achieve their own personal bests.

Hindson), Largo (Handel, arr. Hindson) and Divertimento in D K136, Adante (Mozart). During the interval families were entertained by Martha Hibberd’s piano solo of ‘1st Movement of Haydn Sonata in D Major’. The evening closed with a fantastic vocal solo by Tee Cumberbatch singing ‘Isn’t She Lovely’ (Stevie Wonder).

A whole host of awards and prizes were given to students for their academic and personal successes, whilst the extensive contributions of three members of staff, Ms Wakeling, Ms Abraham and Ms Hurley were also celebrated.

Following some wonderful hospitality and catering at the beginning of the event, guests and award winners were also treated to a guest speaker, Dr Deepa Panch, Medical Director and Co-owner of Sunninghill Clinic in Berkshire. Dr Panch leads a team of more than 30 people, as well as working in London, training other doctors and contributing to medical research. She was an inspiration, just as many of the evening’s award winners will be future trailblazers in their chosen careers.

We wish to extend our thanks to the parents, teachers, guest speakers, facilities team and – most importantly – our wonderful students for making the evening such a success. The photographs of the evening can be downloaded from our website here: Celebration of Achievement 2026 - Eltham Hill School. All parents and carers should receive an email containing the login details required to access and download the photographs.

We look forward to celebrating more fantastic achievements with many other students and colleagues in Autumn 2027.
