We are pleased to say that we have maintained the high results achieved over the last five years and our students have achieved significantly above national and London averages in all key measures.

It was great to see our students and their families celebrating with their teachers today.

Our students results at grades 9-7 and grades 9-5 are again outstanding for a completely comprehensive and inclusive school. Nationally 71% of entries for Year 11 pupils received a grade 4, in Eltham Hill this figure is 82%. Nationally the % of grades at 9-7 is 23%, at Eltham Hill 32% of our grades are 9-7.

Particularly impressive sets of results were recorded by Martyna Karabacz who achieved five grade 9’s, three grade 8’s and 3 grade 7’s , Layla Whyte who achieved four grade 9’s, five grade 8’s, one grade 7, Ekaterina Oleynikova who achieved two grade 9’s ,six grade 8’s and three grade 7’s, Grace Etheridge who achieved two grades 9’s , seven grade 8’s and one grade 7, and Georgina Steele who achieved two grade 9’s, five grade 8’s , three grade 7’s and one grade 6 .

Overall our English results continue to be significantly higher than national averages with 74% of our students achieving a grade 9-4 for English Language compared with 71% nationally. Equally impressively 30% achieved a 9-7 grade, nationally this is 20%. Maths results are also very strong with 9-4 results at 77 %, nationally this is 72% and 9-7 at 22%. These coupled with strong results in Science, Languages, History and Geography have led to EBacc results that are well above national with 34% of our students achieving above a 5 in all elements of the EBacc.

We even have fourteen subjects where over a third of all the students taking those subjects achieved grades 7-9! They are Design and Technology 33%, Geography 33%, Sociology 36%, Drama 38%, Spanish 39% , History 39%, Textiles 39%, Psychology 42%, French 44%, Photography 44%, Chemistry 50%, Biology 52%, Physics 60% and Media 64%.

We are delighted that all of our students, including those who have faced additional challenges and have needed additional support, achieved a good range of qualifications and are able to go on to the next stage of their education whether here or elsewhere. We are really proud of each and every one of them.

We would like to congratulate all our Year 11 students and say thank you to their parents and carers who have worked with us over the last five years. We have great teachers and pastoral support here at Eltham Hill and every member of staff has worked really hard to make sure our students were able to fulfil their potential. We are delighted that we all have so much to celebrate and look forward to welcoming many of our students back in September to our very successful and high performing 6th form.
