Why Work At Eltham Hill School?
If you want to work in a diverse, creative comprehensive school and are committed to improving the life chances of young people then Eltham Hill School is the place for you. We are proud to have been recognised for our pioneering work on equalities, our commitment to internationalism and for the creativity of our curriculum. We have been awarded the CPD Mark, Artsmark Gold, International Schools’ Award and have been designated a Stonewall Champion School. Our school is hugely oversubscribed and we have a thriving co-educational Sixth Form.
The International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP) is unique to our post 16 offer, alongside a wide range of A Levels. In addition, we deliver an innovative, flexible and highly creative curriculum offer for all our students at KS3, which has received wide recognition. A wide range of whole school events supports cross-curricular working and iPads are used by staff and students to create an IT rich learning environment.
You will join a supportive team of highly motivated professionals who work closely together to plan, develop and deliver an exciting and engaging curriculum for our students. Our facilities are excellent and I would urge you to visit our school to feel the strong sense of a warm and caring community that permeates our buildings.
We are looking to appoint teachers who are passionate about their subject and excited by new developments in teaching and learning. You will be offered outstanding professional development opportunities to develop your skills and we have the same vision for our staff as we do for our students – Excellence, Happiness and Success.
I look forward to reading your application. If you require any further information or would like to visit the school prior to application, please do not hesitate to contact us.
