Post-16 Results Day 2025

We are incredibly proud of this year’s Post-16 students who, have achieved an impressive set of results – 87.5% of A Level grades at A*-C (9.8% above national and nearly 5% above our results last year), 64.7% at A*-B (9.7% above national and 5% above our results last year), and 28.2% at A*-A (in line with national and our results last year).

Their success is testament to their hard work, but also the hard work of the teachers and associate staff who have dedicated a huge amount of time and effort to supporting students over the last two years – a massive thank you to everyone involved in ensuring our sixth formers are successful.

• In Sociology over 50% of students secured A*/A grades.
• In English Literature, English Language, French, Geography, Maths and Physics, over a third of students secured A*/A grades.
• In Biology, Politics and Media over 30% of students secured A*/A grades.
• In English Literature, English Language, Geography, Media, Psychology and Sociology, over three quarters of students secured A*-B
• In Biology, Economics, French, Politics, History, and Physics, 60% or more of students secured A*-B

Our BTEC results were also excellent, with over 61% of grades at Distinction or Distinction* - equivalent to an A/A* - and 82% achieving D*-M.

One student achieved 4 Distinction* grades – the equivalent of 4 A*s – in Applied Science and Health and Social Care,

In Health and Social Care, 86.7% of students achieved D*/D and 100% achieved D*-M.

We also have students taking up prestigious apprenticeships, including accountants with Forvis Mazars.

In addition, several students from previous years are also taking up places on top-ranked courses including Law at LSE and Global Health at King’s.
